Juarvis Innovations, LLC ("Juarvis Innovations," "we," "us," or "our") built and operates Focalign (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use and store it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Focalign mobile app on iOS and Android and to the account services that support it. It does not apply to other websites or apps, including the Juarvis Innovations marketing website, except where this policy is linked from a page describing Focalign.
Please read this policy along with Focalign's Terms of Service. If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the App.
To use Focalign, you create an account. We collect the information needed to create and secure that account, such as an email address and a password (stored in hashed, non-reversible form — we never store your plaintext password). If you sign in using Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive the identifier and email address those providers give us for that purpose. If you sign in with Google, Google may also share your name with us as part of that sign-in; we don’t currently display or use it anywhere in the App, but it may be stored in our authentication provider’s records. (Signing in with Apple does not share your name with us, even though Apple’s own prompt may ask your permission to share it with the app.)
Focalign is a project- and task-management app. In the ordinary course of using it, you create and store content such as:
This content is yours. We store it so the App can function — sync your data across the devices you use, display it back to you, and schedule reminders — not to read, sell, or repurpose it.
So that the App behaves the same on every device you sign in on, we also store a few settings with your account: the time zone your device is set to (checked each time you open the App, so that "today" and daily-task cut-offs follow your own midnight), your light/dark theme preference, and which in-app tutorials and tips you have already seen.
Focalign does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting software, and the App does not send us device identifiers or usage telemetry. The only technical logging comes from the infrastructure that runs the service: our hosting provider (Render) keeps standard server request logs, and our authentication provider (Supabase) may record sign-in events. These can include the information every network request carries — such as IP address, request timestamps, the requested address, and your device's standard HTTP user-agent string. We use this only for security, troubleshooting, and reliability — not to build an advertising profile.
If you contact us for support, feedback, or any other reason, we collect whatever information you choose to share in that communication (for example, your email address and the content of your message).
Short version: the apps you choose to block are never sent to us. Focus Lock is an optional feature that uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls framework, on-device only.
When you turn on Focus Lock and pick which apps or categories to block, that selection is made through Apple's own system picker and is stored using Apple's on-device Family Controls APIs, inside your device's protected Screen Time storage. Neither Focalign nor Juarvis Innovations' servers ever receive, see, transmit, or store which specific apps you've chosen to block, when the block is active, or your device's app-usage activity. Enabling or disabling Focus Lock, and how many daily tasks you've marked complete (which determines whether the block lifts), are handled locally on your device and are not used to build any profile of your app usage.
Focus Lock is available on iOS only, since it depends on Apple's Family Controls entitlement, which has no Android equivalent.
Emergency override: the App includes a manual "Force Clear Block" control you can use at any time to end an active block, as a safety net independent of the daily-task requirement. If a block ever needs to be cleared and the in-app control isn't available, you can also always remove it yourself through your device: Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Permission → turn off Focalign.
We use the information described above to:
We do not use your project, task, or note content to train machine-learning models, and we do not sell your personal information. We do not currently run advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs inside the App. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
Focalign's application server runs on cloud infrastructure provided by Render (Render Services, Inc.), hosted in the United States. Your account and content — projects, tasks, notes, and calendar data — are stored in a dedicated Postgres database hosted by Supabase, Inc. ("Supabase"), also in the United States, which also provides the authentication service used to sign you in (including Apple and Google Sign-In). Supabase's Row Level Security is enforced on our database so that each account can only ever access its own data. Data in transit between the App and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Locally on your device, some settings (such as your Focus Lock preferences) are stored using standard iOS/Android app-local storage mechanisms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your project/task/note content with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, to help us run the App:
We may also disclose information if required to by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Juarvis Innovations, our users, or others. If Juarvis Innovations is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a policy at least as protective.
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active, so the App can function. You can delete individual projects, tasks, and notes at any time within the App.
To delete your account in the App: open Settings → Delete account and confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your account and everything stored with it (projects, tasks, notes, calendar events, Cores, Scratch Pad text, and settings) is removed from our systems.
If you can't use the App (for example, you've uninstalled it or can't sign in), email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my Focalign account" — we will delete your account and associated content within 30 days. Step-by-step instructions are also on our account deletion page.
In either case, we may retain limited information where we're required to do so for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly within the App (editing or deleting your content) or by contacting us at [email protected].
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of it, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" (as that term is defined under California law) personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (providing the App you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, reliability, and improving the service), and consent where required. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Focalign is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Focalign's servers are located in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your home country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer where permitted by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
